Defensive Carry Applications - 11/29/2026 | Cottageville, SC
Dates: 11/29/2026
Location: Live Fire Training Academy - 373 Mercer Ln, Cottageville, South Carolina.
Defensive Carry Applications is a practical course for people who carry a pistol and want to strengthen their understanding, handling, and accountability. It connects the everyday demands of concealed carry with the decisions and skills needed when a defensive problem arises. This class also covers the several other considerations that should be thought out when carrying a firearm concealed.
Through applied exercises, students work on safe, efficient handling from concealment, controlled presentation when appropriate, and deliberate decision-making under pressure. Training emphasizes balancing timely action with accuracy and awareness rather than speed alone.
Students receive feedback to identify strengths, gaps, and priorities for future practice. Designed for those ready to move beyond basic familiarity with concealed carry, the course helps develop a more capable and responsible approach to defensive pistol use.
Course focus: Concealed-carry considerations; pistol handling from concealment; defensive problem-solving; application of the fundamentals on demands with increasingly more complex problems.
