Payment, Cancellation, Refund & Weather Policy

This policy applies to all courses, private instruction, coaching sessions, and events offered by Palmetto Training Group ("PTG").
Payment Policy
Course Registration
A student's seat is not reserved until payment has been received.
Registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
PTG reserves the right to limit class sizes and close registration once capacity has been reached.
Accepted Payment Methods
PTG accepts:
Credit/Debit Cards
Cash
Approved Electronic Payments
Gift Certificates (if applicable)
Returned payments, chargebacks, or declined transactions may result in cancellation of registration.
Private Instruction
Private lessons require payment in full at the time of scheduling unless otherwise approved by PTG.
Pricing
Course prices are subject to change without notice.
Students who have already registered and paid are not affected by future price changes.
Cancellation Policy
Student Cancellation
Students may cancel their registration at any time by contacting PTG.
Cancellation requests must be submitted by email or another written method.
More Than 30 Days Before Class
Students who cancel at least thirty (30) calendar days before the scheduled course may choose one of the following:
Transfer to another available course.
Receive a PTG account credit valid for twelve (12) months.
Receive a refund, less a 5% processing fee to cover non-refundable payment processing costs.
14–29 Days Before Class
Students canceling between fourteen (14) and twenty-nine (29) calendar days before class may:
Transfer once to another available course without penalty.
Receive a PTG account credit valid for twelve (12) months.
Refunds are generally not issued during this period.
Less Than 14 Days Before Class
Cancellations made fewer than fourteen (14) calendar days before class are not eligible for a refund or course credit.
PTG may make exceptions for verified emergencies at its sole discretion.
We understand that things happen and we will do our best to accommodate. Please understand that when you
register for a course, you take up a spot that another person can not take. PTG has a minimum student requirement that must be met in order for a course to be hosted.
No-Show Policy
Students who fail to appear for a scheduled course without prior notification will:
Forfeit all tuition.
Receive no refund.
Receive no course credit.
Private Lesson Rescheduling
Private lessons may be rescheduled without charge if at least forty-eight (48) hours' notice is provided.
Requests made with less than forty-eight (48) hours' notice may result in forfeiture of the lesson fee.
PTG Course Cancellation
PTG reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course due to:
Instructor illness
Instructor emergency
Range closure
Unsafe weather
Equipment failure
Low enrollment
Circumstances beyond PTG's control
If PTG cancels a course, students may choose:
A full refund, or
Transfer to another available course.
PTG is not responsible for travel expenses, lodging, ammunition, lost wages, or any other incidental costs.
Refund Policy
Refunds will only be issued when permitted under this policy.
Refunds are processed using the original payment method whenever possible.
Processing times vary depending on the financial institution.
Payment processing fees charged by third-party providers may be deducted from eligible refunds.
Student Removal
Students removed from training due to:
Unsafe firearm handling
Safety violations
Disruptive conduct
Harassment
Failure to follow instructor directions
Alcohol or drug impairment
are not eligible for a refund, transfer, or course credit.
Weather Policy
Firearms training occurs outdoors and will proceed under most weather conditions.
Classes will generally continue during:
Light rain
Moderate rain
Cold temperatures
Heat
Wind
Overcast conditions
Students should dress appropriately for expected weather.
Delays
Training may be temporarily suspended due to:
Lightning within the immediate area
Severe thunderstorms
Tornado warnings
Flash flooding
High winds creating unsafe conditions
Any condition deemed unsafe by the Lead Instructor
Weather Cancellations
Only PTG may determine whether weather conditions require cancellation or postponement.
If PTG cancels due to weather, students may:
Transfer to a future course, or
Receive a full refund.
Students who independently choose not to attend due to weather, when the course is still being conducted, are considered to have voluntarily canceled and are subject to the standard cancellation policy.
Chargebacks
Students agree not to initiate a payment dispute or chargeback without first contacting PTG to resolve the matter.
Fraudulent chargebacks may result in:
Permanent removal from future courses.
Collection efforts.
Recovery of associated fees and costs as permitted by law.
Agreement
By registering for any Palmetto Training Group course, event, or private lesson, the student acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to abide by this Payment, Cancellation, Refund, and Weather Policy.
PTG reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will apply only to future registrations unless otherwise required by law.
