These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the PTG website and your purchase or use of PTG products, training courses, consultations, events, and other services.

By accessing our website, registering for training, purchasing a product or service, or otherwise interacting with PTG, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or purchase PTG products or services.

1. ABOUT PTG

Palmetto Training Group LLC is a South Carolina limited liability company providing firearms training, education, consultation, and related products and services.

PTG provides training for educational and skill-development purposes.

PTG does not guarantee any particular level of performance, outcome, certification, qualification, employment result, legal outcome, or personal safety outcome as a result of participating in PTG training.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must meet all applicable legal, age, licensing, range, and course-specific requirements to participate in PTG training or purchase certain products or services.

Certain courses may have additional prerequisites or eligibility requirements.

PTG reserves the right to deny or cancel registration when an individual does not satisfy applicable course, range, safety, or legal requirements.

You are responsible for determining whether you are legally permitted to possess, transport, handle, or use a firearm or ammunition before participating in training.

3. TRAINING REGISTRATION

Registration for a PTG course is not complete until the applicable registration and payment requirements have been satisfied.

Course availability is limited and registration may be subject to capacity restrictions.

PTG reserves the right to modify course dates, locations, instructors, curriculum, round counts, equipment requirements, or other course details when reasonably necessary.

If PTG must cancel or substantially reschedule a course, PTG will provide affected students with available options, which may include rescheduling or a refund in accordance with the applicable cancellation policy.

4. STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Students participating in PTG training are responsible for:

  • Following all applicable laws

  • Following range rules

  • Following PTG safety procedures

  • Following instructor commands

Failure to follow safety requirements may result in removal from training without a refund.

5. FIREARMS AND AMMUNITION

Students are responsible for ensuring that their firearms and ammunition are lawful, safe, and appropriate for the applicable course.

PTG may inspect firearms or equipment when reasonably necessary to address safety concerns.

PTG may prohibit the use of firearms, ammunition, equipment, accessories, or modifications that PTG or the host range reasonably determines to be unsafe or inappropriate for the course.

Students are responsible for complying with all range-specific firearm and ammunition requirements.

6. SAFETY AND REMOVAL FROM TRAINING

Firearms training involves inherent risks.

Students must follow all safety instructions and applicable range rules.

PTG may immediately remove a student from training when PTG reasonably determines that the student's conduct presents a safety risk to the student, instructors, staff, other students, range personnel, or members of the public.

Examples may include:

  • Unsafe firearm handling

  • Failure to follow instructor commands

  • Failure to follow range rules

  • Unsafe ammunition or equipment

  • Impairment

  • Aggressive or threatening behavior

  • Refusal to follow safety instructions

  • Behavior that creates an unreasonable safety risk

Removal from training for safety violations generally does not entitle the student to a refund.

7. ALCOHOL, DRUGS, AND IMPAIRMENT

Students may not participate in PTG firearms training while impaired by alcohol, controlled substances, or any other substance or condition that may affect their ability to safely participate.

PTG may refuse or terminate participation when an instructor reasonably believes a student is impaired or otherwise unable to safely participate.

No refund is guaranteed when participation is terminated for impairment or other safety violations.

8. PHYSICAL AND MEDICAL CONSIDERATIONS

Firearms training may involve physical activity, repetitive movement, standing, kneeling, bending, lifting, walking, and exposure to loud noises and other range conditions.

Students are responsible for determining whether they are physically capable of participating safely.

Students should inform PTG instructors of relevant limitations or conditions that may affect safe participation when appropriate.

PTG instructors are not medical professionals and PTG training is not medical treatment.

9. TRAINING WAIVER AND RELEASE

Participation in PTG firearms training may require execution of a separate Training Waiver and Release.

Where a waiver is required, completion of the waiver is a condition of participation.

The Training Waiver and Release is incorporated into the student's registration process where applicable, but may contain additional terms and conditions governing participation in training.

10. TRAINING CONTENT AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE

PTG training is educational in nature.

Training may include instruction concerning firearms handling, marksmanship, equipment, tactics, decision-making, and other subjects depending on the course.

Training does not constitute legal advice, medical advice, or a guarantee that a student will perform a particular action or achieve a particular outcome in a real-world situation.

Students are responsible for independently determining how applicable laws, regulations, policies, and individual circumstances affect their conduct.
